Who we are, where we came from, and why we do what we do every single day.
The Foundation was established in 2019 to address the real problems of people trapped in debt, spiraling into financial crisis, and feeling powerless to resist the debt collection system.
We saw families torn apart by unpayable obligations, individuals hounded by aggressive collectors, and ordinary people who simply did not know their rights. The system was — and often still is — stacked against them.
We believe that every person deserves a second chance and the opportunity to live a dignified life without the constant fear of bailiffs or creditors. That belief is the foundation of everything we do.
The Lady Liberty Foundation is not a haven for passive observers. It is a place for determined people who want to truly change their financial and legal situation. We help those who are ready to take action.
We are determined to educate society about law and finance, because knowledge is the best weapon in the fight against the system. Our mission is to stand beside every person who feels crushed by debt and show them a realistic, legal, and dignified path forward.
We combine legal guidance, financial education, and personal support to give people the tools they need to reclaim control of their lives.
Our goal is a conscious, debt-free Poland — a society where every person understands their rights and knows how to exercise them. A Poland where the debt collection system cannot exploit ignorance, fear, or despair.
We envision a future where financial literacy is widespread and where no one faces the threat of losing their home or livelihood alone.
"Primum non nocere — first, do no harm. Every intervention we undertake is carefully considered to bring real benefit to those in our care."The Foundation's President — Guiding Principle
These are not words on a wall. They are the principles that guide every decision, every consultation, and every case we take on.
We believe the law must serve people — not be used as a weapon against them. We fight for fair treatment for everyone.
An informed person cannot be easily exploited. We share legal and financial knowledge freely and clearly.
Every person who comes to us is treated with full respect, regardless of their situation or the size of their debt.
We value concrete results over empty words. We take real steps and measure real outcomes for the people we serve.
We are open and honest about what we can and cannot do. No false promises — only realistic, honest guidance.
We do not give up when the system pushes back. We are persistent advocates for the people who trust us with their cases.
The Foundation's team is made up of passionate individuals — passionate about law, finance, and social justice — combining diverse professional and personal experiences. We are united by a common goal: effective assistance to those in debt.
The Foundation fosters an atmosphere of mutual respect and substantive discussion. We work in diverse capacities — sometimes heated, but never stifling. We value openness, honesty, and concrete action over empty words.
Due to her education and experience, the Foundation's President is guided by the principle of "Primum non nocere" — first, do no harm. Every intervention we undertake is carefully considered to bring real benefit to those in our care.
Together, we are more than a foundation. We are a movement for financial dignity.
FUNDACJA WSPARCIA I POMOCY ZADŁUŻONYM "LADY LIBERTY" was formally registered with KRS 0000803380. The founding team identified a critical gap in support for people facing debt collection in Poland.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic year, the Foundation reached its first 100 people helped — providing legal guidance, debt negotiation support, and financial education workshops.
We launched a structured educational programme covering debtor rights, bailiff procedures, court processes, and debt restructuring options — available free of charge to all who need it.
The Foundation expanded its legal support services, bringing in specialists in consumer law, bankruptcy proceedings, and creditor negotiations to serve a growing number of clients.
A major milestone — over 500 individuals and families supported. Our success rate reached 85%, with hundreds of people achieving meaningful debt reductions or full resolution of their cases.
Today the Foundation continues to grow, deepen its expertise, and fight for every person who walks through our doors. Our commitment to dignity, justice, and real results has never been stronger.
